My obsession with Brazil nuts continues and I now make this milk weekly. Brazil nuts are very high in selenium which is a powerful antioxidant that helps metabolism, reproduction and immunity. I put a splash in my matcha lattes.
1 cup Brazil nuts
4 cups water
2-3 Medjool dates
1-2 tsp Vanilla extract
Salt (I like Himalayan)
Soak nuts for 1 hour minimum. After soaking, place nuts into a high-speed blender with 4 cups of filtered water and your dates. Blend for about 1 minute.
Add your vanilla extract, salt and store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
