Things I Love: Lifestyle & Books
A Return to Love
The most important book you will read. It reminds us that fear and ego are not real, only love is. We can't look to external things for happiness, we must love ourselves first.
Beyond the Pill
A must-read to understand the impact birth control has on our bodies and a protocol to take back control.
Barbarian Days: A Surfing Life
An amazing memoir following Finnegan's surfing adventures all over the world. I might be biased, but the San Francisco chapter is the best.
A classic. I re-read this every one or two years and reflect on it's relevance in our ever-changing society.
An eye-opening book on the conflict in Northern Ireland. Keefe's book on the Sackler's, Empire of Pain, is another must-read.
Explores the field of epigenetics and the importance of looking to our ancestors for guidance. Touches on four key pillars of health — fresh food, fermented + sprouted foods, meat on the bone and organs.
Hoka Bondi 7
The best support and comfort for your daily walks and while I am not a runner, I hear they work wonders for that too. They also add a little lift for my shorties.
Merrell Moab 2
I firmly believe everyone should invest in a pair of hiking shoes even if you aren’t an avid hiker. The traction will keep you from slipping even on the tamest hikes. I’ve had these for 6+ years and they are still holding up.
My fave ESWB (emotional support water bottle). While on the heavier side, I tell myself I can use it to fend off any attackers if needed. It keeps water cool and I fill up the 32 oz. about 4x a day.
Amazing for sleep, activity and general health tracking.
Space of Time Candle Holder
